What is vaping?

Vaping is the inhalation and exhalation of vapor when using an electronic cigarette. Vaping is the evolution of tobacco use. Vaping products contain no actual tobacco. Some vape products contain nicotine, a chemical found in tobacco. The liquid inside vaping devices is made of four main ingredients: Propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, flavoring, and nicotine (if applicable). Compare that to a traditional cigarette’s ingredient list, which includes acetone, ammonia, arsenic, butane, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, lead, and tar - among thousands of other chemicals.

Can vaping help me quit smoking?

Absolutely. In our experience, vaping is the most effective way to quit smoking traditional cigarettes. Also, it helps users who suffer from addiction to other tobacco products such as snus, chew tobacco, cigars, and more.

Can I vape indoors?

Laws against smoking indoors have existed for decades. While many of those laws do not include vaping, we recommend only vaping where you can legally smoke. Always be courteous, and never vape around children.

Does vaping produce a smell?

Some do, some don’t. Certain vape liquids can give off a pleasant aroma that matches the taste of the liquid itself.

How old do you have to be to use vape products?

In Nevada, you must be 21 to purchase and use vape products.

Is vaping less expensive than smoking cigarettes?

Yes! Vaping is usually much cheaper than smoking cigarettes. A 100mL bottle of eJuice can last a user weeks and costs less than a few packs of cigarettes.

What is a disposable vape?

Disposable vapes are exactly what their name entails. They are vaping devices meant to be discarded. Traditional vaping devices have replaceable components such as batteries, tanks, and atomizers (what heats the e-liquid). Disposable vapes do not. Once these devices run out of e-liquid or battery, they should be discarded safely. Batteries contain metals such as mercury, lead, nickel, and silver, which can threaten the environment. Bring them by Vapeco, and we will dispose of them responsibly!

Do vaping products contain THC (Cannabis)?

Traditional vaping products, including all products sold at Vapeco, do not contain THC - the active chemical in marijuana. There are, however, vapeable THC products available. While these items may look similar to traditional nicotine vaping products, they are not the same. We strongly urge anyone looking for THC vaping products to only purchase from reputable sources. In 2020, EVALI cases related to vaping THC cartridges killed nearly 70 people nationwide.
